BBC’s Douglas Fraser on TTIP: Idea that Americans know how to run Britain’s health system ‘laughable’

Writing for the BBC online, business and economy editor Douglas Fraser takes a look at the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) talks.

He writes: “The idea that Americans know how to run Britain’s health service more efficiently seems laughable. The US health system is in the global super-league for inefficiency.

“But that threat is for real, if you listen to critics of trade talks between the US and the European Union.”
