COMMON WEAL continued its Butterfly Rammy Edinburgh Fringe show on 11 August with ‘Gabbin’.
It was more of a rammy, with crowd members and guests often disagreeing about how effective the public and cultural activism on each side of the debate was and whether a new approach would be needed if there is another referendum.
The guests were poet and writer Jenny Lindsay and comedian Vladimir McTavish.
Gordon McIntyre from Ediburgh band Ballboy provided the music and Agnes Torok performed her poem Teach Me from the Butterfly Rammy book.
Butterfly Rammy will run until 30 August at the Stand in the Square.
Each show is based around one Scots word that represents ‘Butterfly Rammy’–the multiple and diverse thinking and activism that developed through the independence movement.
