Sean Bell will become interim editor of the site
BEN WRAY is stepping down as CommonSpace editor, with parliamentary reporter Sean Bell taking over as interim editor, before a permanent appointment is made in the new year. Sean can be contacted at sean@common.scot.
Ben will be continuing to work with the organisation in a part-time capacity on Common A.M., the site’s new daily newsletter, which provides a one-stop shop each morning to everything going on in Scottish politics. You can sign up to receive Common A.M. here.
Ben Wray stated: “It’s been a privilege to edit CommonSpace for the past year and a half. I’ve worked with a fantastic team of people, and would like to thank them all for their dedication.
“As the site approaches its fifth anniversary in January, I’m convinced it will go from strength to strength. Scottish politics needs reporting and analysis that is insightful and critical, and unashamed about coming from a grassroots, pro-independence left perspective. I’m sure CommonSpace will continue to provide that going forward.”
Sean Bell added: “Ben has been an excellent, dedicated editor and we’re all sad to see him go. I look forward to the challenges and opportunities of the months ahead.”
