Latest addition to Scotland’s new media Flat Two Right kicks off series with Loki
IN a new series of Flat Two Right, creator Kevan O’Reilly features Scottish rapper and writer Darren ‘Loki’ McGarvey.
In it, Loki discusses his new album, Trigger Warning, and upcoming book, Poverty Safari, as well as performing some of his work a capella and taking on the Flat Two Right tea challenge.
O’Reilly, who lives in the east end of Glasgow, started Flat Two Right after feeling frustrated with media in Scotland. “Rather than just complain thought I’d give making an alternative a go,” he says.
He adds: “I make it entirely independently, with, as of yet, no financial or technical help. I am passionate about continuing to improve it so I’m currently saving up for a new camera as well as thinking of how to adjust the format to be more entertaining.
“But as it stands I am still very proud of it and would really appreciate any help to let more people know it is there.”
