Much complaining about people demonstrating against Trump
Huge demonstrations against US President Donald Trump, including a monster women’s demonstration on Saturday (21 January), thought to be the largest in history, have drawn criticisms by some for being an affront to democracy. For their own part, the new administration are keeping quiet. But as though the tides of history needed defending, here’s a gentle reminder of what protest against the outgoing Obama administration by Trump’s die-hard supporters looked like.
