CommonSpace spoke to Scottish Labour external affairs spokesperson Lewis MacDonald MSP and Neil Findlay MSP at the party conference in Perth

THE SCOTTISH LABOUR party held its conference in Perth at the weekend, where there was much discussion about Scotland’s place in the world.

CommonSpace reporter David Thomson caught up with the party’s external affairs spokesperson, Lewis MacDonald MSP, and Neil Findlay MSP ahead of the UK triggering Article 50, which will formally begin the process of leaving the EU.

Issues discussed include the Scottish Parliament’s own vote on triggering Article 50 earlier this month, what kind of Brexit deal they both want to see and what message they would like to send to Scotland’s first minister, Nicola Sturgeon, and UK PM Theresa May.
