Call centre workers in Scotland are routinely having requests to work from home turned down, according to a new academic study. Professor Phil Taylor of the University of Strathclyde has carried out a survey of over 2000 call centre workers and found that two in three have asked to work from home, with just one in 50 having the request granted.
