Scottish Care chief executive Donald MacAskill has called for testing to be rolled out to care homes which are currently Covid-19 free. Testing was made mandatory at care homes with suspected cases of The Coronavirus, but MacAskill is calling for all care homes to have mandatory testing. MacAskill also told the BBC Sunday Politics show that there was many patients moved into care homes in March from hospitals without being tested, a move which was “a strategic attempt to address the issue of what we call ‘delayed discharge'”.
