A survey of Scottish medics has found that one-third are currently suffering from depression, anxiety, stress, burnout, emotional distress or other mental health condition relating to or made worse by their work. The findings of the British Medical Association Scotland survey also found two-thirds said they “feel partly protected” from Covid-19, with 22 per cent saying the felt fully protected, and 13 per cent not at all protected. BMA Scotland Chair Dr Lewis Morrison said ongoing support was needed for frontline health staff. (The Scotsman)
