First part of a new series in collaboration with Independence Live airs
IN the first of a new feature broadcasting live on our Facebook page each week, CommonSpace has teamed up with Independence Live to give our readers and viewers and insight into how our newsroom works.
At CommonSpace we think it's vital to keep the channels of communication with readers as open as possible and break down editorial barriers.
Through this feature, we hope to give you an insight into how we make decisions at CommonSpace and how reporters approach their work. We also hope it will encourage our readers to get in touch with us with any feedback, suggestions, ideas or even contacts that they might have for stories we're working on.
This week, meet our brand new team taking part in our paid work experience programme. They’ve been here for less than a week and they’re doing a great job so far.
If you'd like to get in touch, email the newsroom on media@common.scot
CommonSpace journalism is free for all our readers and we often team up with other media outlets to spread our content as far and wide as we can. We're funded entirely by readers and rely on that generosity to keep up our service. If you'd like to contribute, you can do so here.
Similarly, Independence Live depends on its supporters to keep bringing essential livestreaming from all over Scotland into everyone's living rooms. You can support them here.
