Watch The Glasgow Effect: A talk by Ellie Harrison live on CommonSpace
GLASGOW-BASED artist Ellie Harrison sparked a fast-and-furious debate about class, capitalism, art, education and much more, when details of her year-long project The Glasgow Effect went viral in January last year.
Twelve months later, having slashed her own carbon footprint for transport to zero, she will talk about the sustainability of this ‘sustainable lifestyle’, the relationship between art and activism and the various local projects and campaigns she has been investing her time and energy in to help make Glasgow a more equal, connected and sustainable city.
